Ronald Rudin

Canada's Lost Stories
Posted on November 21, 2016

Ronald Rudin, history professor in the Faculty of Arts and Science and co-director of the Centre for Oral History and Digital Storytelling, was on CBC Saskatchewan's 'The Morning Edition' to discuss the 'Lost Stories' project and the collection of little-known stories of Canadians, to be published for Canada Day, 2017. Rudin is quoted in a piece in the Regina Leader-Post about a Chinese businessman, Yee Clun, who challenged Regina City Hall in 1924 for the right to hire white women in his restaurant. Clun's is one of the 'Lost Stories'. The Saskatoon Star Phoenix reprises the Regina Leader-Post piece. Rudin also appeared on Radio-Canada's 'Pour faire un monde' to discuss the project.
