Best Paper Award - Canadian Journal of Administrative Sciences

John Molson faculty member receives top honours

Congratulations to Lorne Switzer, professor of finance at Concordia University's John Molson School of Business, Van Berkom Endowed Chair in Small-Cap Equities, and Cagdas Tahaoglu, part-time instructor in the department of Finance, whose article entitled Do single-stock circuit breakers provide a safety net for Canadian investors? was selected for the 2021 Best Paper Award by the Canadian Journal of Administrative Sciences. The paper was co-authored by Nabil El Meslmani, from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon.

The winners were announced during the annual meeting of the Administrative Sciences Association of Canada, which took place in Halifax, Nova Scotia on June 6, 2022.

The Canadian Journal of Administrative Sciences is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed, international quarterly that publishes manuscripts with a strong theoretical foundation. The journal welcomes literature reviews, quantitative and qualitative studies as well as conceptual pieces.
