Claudine Mangen named director of the Luc Beaureguard Centre of Excellence in Communications Research

New director will coordinate targeted research and oversee all other activities of the centre

Anne-Marie Croteau, dean of the John Molson School of Business has announced that Claudine Mangen has been named Director, Luc Beauregard Centre of Excellence in Communications Research.

An associate professor in the Department of Accountancy, Mangen currently holds the RBC Professorship in Responsible Organizations. Her research is primarily in the area of corporate governance with a focus on boards of directors, shareholder activism, executive compensation and corporate disclosures.

As director, Mangen will coordinate targeted research and oversee all other activities of the Centre with the support of the Advisory Board.

She replaces Jordan LeBel who has held the position since the Centre was created in 2012.
