A professor in the Department of Accountancy, he is an expert in the areas of accounting education and the economic consequences of accounting standards. His research is focused mainly on financial accounting and he has published papers on deferred income taxes, the effects of changing prices, and pension accounting.

"Goerge has been doing an exemplary job," says Croteau. "On behalf of the entire JMSB community, I would like to thank him for his years of dedication and tireless service. Please join me in congratulating George on his re-appointment and wishing him continued success in his role as associate dean."
