PhD Student Wins International Post-Doc Award

PhD candidate Philipp Dominik Keidl has won the Mobilitas Pluss postdoctoral researcher grant, awarded annually by the Estonian Research Council. The Mobilitas Pluss fellowship supports innovative scholarship with the potential to improve the international visibility of Estonian research, and strengthen the international competitiveness of Estonian universities. Philipp’s research project “Transmedia and Historiography: Archives, Metadata, Power” will be hosted by MEDIT - TLU Center of Excellence in Media Innovation and Digital Culture at Tallinn University. Philipp is currently finishing his dissertation “Plastic Heritage: Fans and the Making of History,” supervised by Professor Haidee Wasson, and will commence his fellowship in early 2019.
