PhD alum Dr. Paula Alaszkiewicz appointed Assistant Professor and Curator at Colorado State University

A recent graduate from the PhD program in Art History, Paula Alaszkiewicz is appointed Assistant Professor in the Department of Design and Merchandising and Curator of the Avenir Museum of Design and Merchandising at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. Dr. Alaszkiewicz will be teaching textile history, costume history, and museum practice. 

Her doctoral thesis The Labyrinth of Fashion Display: Temporalities, Exhibitions, and Visions of Modernity initiates an exchange between recent museum fashion exhibitions and other practices of fashion display.
