Two Art History graduate students among winners of MMFA Chenelière prize

Two Concordia graduate students have been honoured with the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts’ prestigious Chenelière prize for academic excellence. PhD candidate Jessica Veevers was granted a bursary to continue research on her dissertation entitled “The Intersection of Materiality and Mattering: Acrylic Paint and Montreal’s Hard-Edge Painting. Barbara Wisnoski (MA Art History, 2017) was granted an award for her Master’s thesis entitled “An Aesthetics of Everything Else: Flat Ontologies and the Everyday.” Congratulations!
