This is the latest of many awards for Packirisamy as he is already a member of Royal Society of Canada College and fellow of the following institutions:

  • National Academy of Inventors (US)
  • Indian National Academy of Engineering
  • Engineering Institute of Canada
  • Canadian Academy of Engineering
  • American Society of Mechanical Engineers

  • Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering

Within the university, Packirisamy also holds the titles of Gina Cody Research and Innovation Fellow and Concordia University Research Fellow.

The award will be presented at a ceremony on May 30, 2023 during the Banquet of Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering’s 2023 Congress at Université de Sherbrooke.
