Over the past four years, the United States has been engaged in political turmoil the likes it has never seen. To make sense of this, the PSSA has invited former Governor of Vermont, Howard Dean.

Governor Dean has served in multiple roles including: Representative in the Vermont House of Representatives (1983-86), Lieutenant Governor (1987-91), Vermont Governor (1991-2003), Democratic Presidential Candidate (2003-04), and Democratic National Committee Chair (2005-09).

Governor Dean has extensive knowledge in healthcare, energy, education issues, and as well as extensive knowledge from his public service.

With this knowledge, Governor Dean is sure to deliver an interesting talk on US politics.

The moderator of this talk is Professor Graham Dodds. Professor Dodds has written extensively on the United States Presidency. Some of his work about the US Presidency include: Mass Pardons in America (coming in summer 2021), The Unitary Presidency (2019), and Take Up Your Pen (2013).
