Fall 2020: Philosophy for Students During the Pandemic

A Message from the Department Chair Dr. Matt Barker
August 26, 2020
|

Things are different these days, but you can count on our department to do its best to continue to offer enriching experience in philosophy. This fall 2020, all philosophy courses will be taught remotely, in accord with university directives. This is to say we’ll use online and digital platforms to conduct courses, meet with students, and communicate. Like you, we look forward to this exciting challenge, and to sharing and discussing the major topics, periods, and figures in philosophy.

The majority of course material—any group activities, readings, lectures, slide presentations, discussion forums, etc.—will be available through a single platform called Moodle. (You will automatically have access to this as a Concordia student). We strive for these to be engaging, illuminating, and accessible. And we look forward to seeing you online!
