Why do we drink the way we do? New research finds gender differences

A recently published study in the Nature journal Communications Biology found important sex differences in how the gene Bmal1 affects alcohol consumption. The study was led by Nura de Zavalia, researcher in the Shimon Amir lab, and co-authored by Konrad Schoettner, Jory Goldsmith, Pavel Solis, Sarah Ferraro, Gabrielle Parent and Shimon Amir.
