  • On Nov 23, the Sudan Liberation Movement (SLM) and the JEM will meet the Sudanese Government in Addis Ababa to discuss the best way forward to end war in Darfur.
  • According to Ahmed Tugud Lissan who is the head negotiator for the JEM “We want to create a new track (in Addis Ababa) parallel to the existing track for the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N). This eventually means that the DDPD and its outputs are no longer debatable or even being considered”
