Canadian Jewish Studies Forum

Presenting the Institute-Administered Fellowship Winners for 2018-2019

The Forum will be held on Wednesday, January 23 from 12:00-1:30 In the Religions and Cultures Seminar Room (R-103, 2050 McKay Street). A light lunch will be served.

The program includes presentations of the research of the following Fellowship Winners:

Myriam Rafla (Communication Studies), "Inherited Memories: An Intergenerational
Dialogue about Identity Amongst Family Members of the Egyptian Jewish Diaspora.”

Lindsey Jackson (Religions and Cultures),”‘Real Women Protect Babies’: Targeting Mothers in the Fight against Circumcision.”

Myriam Gerber (History), “Unsettled heritage: Munich’s redeeming public memory narratives and an inconvenient Holocaust mass grave.”
