Quebec’s carbon tax challenge failed, but Dr. Noce says that this might be for the better

Dr. Anthony Noce, professor and Economic Policy Coordinator in our department, expressed in a CTV News op-ed that Quebec should recognize the competitive advantage it has with regard to the federal carbon tax legislation. Dr. Noce suggests that carbon taxes should be used to reduce more distorting taxes, such as the income tax.
