Dr. Alan Dowty, a Visiting Researcher (Spring 2015) at the Azrieli Institute of Israel Studies recently published his latest book, Arabs and Jews in Ottoman Palestine: Two Worlds Collide.  This book will trace the earliest roots of the conflict to the Ottoman Empire in the 19th century, arguing that this historical approach highlights constant clashes between religious and ethnic groups in Palestine.

The book is published with Indiana University Press.
