A man in a red cape with beaded designs stands next to a young boy. Both have their backs turned to the camera and are looking out over a mountainous landscape and valley.

A powerful testament to solidarity filmmaking, KLABONA stays the course with a small but determined community of Indigenous land defenders in northwest British Columbia who successfully push multinational extraction companies off their land.

Join Cinema Politica Concordia and partners for the Montreal premiere of THE KLABONA KEEPERS, followed by a Q&A with director Tamo Campos and the land defenders within the film, moderated by educator, writer and researcher Kasim Ali Tirmizey.
