This training, open to all students, faculty and staff at Concordia, offers an opportunity to learn about sustainability initiatives and structures at the university.
The Sustainability Ambassador Program (SAP) is a collaboration between the Office of Sustainability and Sustainable Concordia. Students who volunteer with the program become peer-to-peer sustainability educators, known as Sustainability Ambassadors (SAs). SAs work in different roles across Concordia to encourage awareness and develop more sustainable behaviors on campus.
Due to the COVID-19 health crisis and the suspension of campus activities, volunteer opportunities through the program are postponed until further notice. However, this fall we are offering an in-depth series of training opportunities!
This first training session in the series is open to all community members (not just students) and will prepare you to discuss sustainability with confidence, as well as gain a deeper understanding of how sustainability initiatives, groups and goals work at Concordia.
There is no expected commitment after attending this training, but afterward students will be invited to learn more about the SAP and to attend the next two trainings in the series if interested.
You won't be required to be on camera during this Zoom training. However, we will ask you to participate through the chat function.
