Do you have an engineering degree from outside Canada? Come and learn how to apply for a permit from the OIQ!

Target Students: Students in Mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical and computer engineering, software engineering, industrial engineering, building and civil engineering at the Masters or PhD level.

 

You obtained your first engineering degree outside of Canada and you want to practice engineering in Quebec? This session is for you!

The purpose of this information session is to inform you about who the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec is, its mission and to provide information about the Engineers Act. In addition, you will be given explanations on the steps to follow in order to practice the profession of engineer in Quebec. 

 

The Ordre des ingénieurs is the organization that regulates the engineering profession in Quebec. In order to use the title of engineer, it is mandatory to obtain a permit to practice and to be registered as a member of the OIQ. Come and learn about the regulations in force in Quebec.
