Here we are: you want to get into User Experience (UX), but you don’t know where to start. Three years ago, I was in a similar situation as a first-year student. However, in just a few months, I managed to get my first UX internship, consulted for software companies and received dozens of job offers. In this session, I will present the trajectory I took to become a user experience researcher during university.
I will break down the specific strategies I implemented to work with startups in the creative industry, in healthcare and with the provincial and federal governments. In this workshop, you will learn to:
Get and take advantage of internship experiences
Grow and leverage your network effectively
Make the best of your online presence
Communicate passion through your work
Avoid the mistakes that I made
I look forward to taking the next step with you!
