LEADERSHIP & COLLABORATION MODULE

We’ve all had that dreaded teammate -- and some of us have even been that dreaded teammate ourselves -- who threatens our groups’ success or is willing to ride on the hard work of others. Navigating the social dynamics of group work when grades and academic success are on the line can be one of the hardest parts of the university experience. In this workshop, you will learn practical strategies for setting up group work that works, and you will learn helpful and actionable strategies for what to do when a good set-up and clear communication fails. You will leave this workshop clearer, more confident, and better equipped to thrive in group projects, both in university and beyond.

Facilitator: Megan Webster, B.A.H., B.Ed, M.A., and PhD
