Here we are: you want to get into User Experience (UX), but you don’t have anything to show, and don’t know where to start. Two years ago, I was in a similar situation as a first-year student. However, in just a few months, I managed to get my first internship experience, consulted for software companies and received multiple job offers. In this session, I will present the trajectory I took to become a user experience researcher as a full-time student.
I will break down the specific strategies I implemented to work with startups in the creative industry, in health technology and with the provincial and federal government.
In this Zoom Room, you will learn to:
Get and take advantage of internship experiences
Grow and leverage your network effectively
Make the best of your online presence
Communicate passion through your work
Avoid the mistakes that I made
