This series is a joint collaboration between the Student Success Centre and the Concordia Music Department.

Live Your Music occurs weekly via Zoom on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. All  students, staff and faculty are welcome, regardless of their level of musical experience. Beginners welcome!

Do you play a musical instrument that is now lying neglected in some corner or closet? Are you looking for a group to sing your heart out with? Have you always wanted to make music with others?

Come take a musical health break with us and release your stress! Studies show that playing a musical instrument and/or singing enhances your overall brain function and wellbeing. Not to mention you'll get to experience the energy and brain boost that creative musical play gives us. You'll get to meet new people and maybe even make new friends!

Just bring your musical instrument, your voice and your love for music. If you don't have an instrument -  we suggest you bring some "found sounds." Your house is full of them!

This workshop series is facilitated by Dr. Irene Feher from the Concordia Music department. Feher is also a certified Music For People Facilitator and member of the CSU music improv collective club Collabra-Dabra-Tory.

Co-facilitating with Dr. Feher is Concordia Music alumnus Kate Markle. The series also features special guest appearances by Mary Knysh (Music for People).
