Target Audience: 1st Year, 2nd Year and Final Year

Join Ericsson Montreal for a unique opportunity to expand your data science skill set and work with interesting real-world mission critical challenges over thousands of data generated from multiple sensors through large complex wireless networks.The focus of this event is to apply artificial intelligence and machine learning to telecommunication industry and IoT, where the deployment of 5G networks is just around the corner.

Whether you are studying computer science, electrical or other engineering fields, mathematics/physics or business intelligence, you are invited to participate in the Ericsson Hackathon for smart homes and cities: Apply AI/ML across wireless networks.

Build up a team of 3 to 4 members with friends, classmates or lab mates. All members shall be from the same university and three teams from each university will be selected to participate.

The team will have 1 day to come up with innovative approaches and tools to solve one or more of the proposed problems from the telecommunications industry.

Food and snacks will be provided throughout the day and prizes for the top three teams will be awarded.

Registration will be opened until May 20th 2019.
