This month at SHIFT, learn about the work of two project teams who are addressing critical gaps and failures of the healthcare system through partnerships between underserved communities and public health agencies.

  • The Alliance for Community Adaptation aims to reduce the rate of Black English-speaking children being reported to youth protection, using a culturally and linguistically adapted preventive programming.
  • The Sex [M]ed project team is developing comprehensive training materials and workshops for healthcare practitioners to increase the Quebec healthcare system’s capacity to appropriately support and care for 2SLGBTQIA+ folks

This event is open to all, register here or drop by if you are on campus.

Bring your own lunch or come and snack on what we have!
