Join us for two sessions on using and creating VR content.

Session 1 - September 28 (3 - 5 p.m.): Introduction to different VR systems with a focus on mobile based VR (such as google Cardboard). We will look at a variety of VR content types. From there, we will look at the easiest way to build a VR experience and go right to work. Build your own environment, load models and work with 360 photography. No programming experience required.

Session 2 - October 5 (4 - 5 p.m.): Optional follow-up session to answer further questions and help you troubleshoot problems you may have run into and share your creation with the group. The zoom link for this will be shared in the first session.

Cardboard VR headsets will be provided (free) to those who enrol. This workshop is for Concordia students (graduate and undergraduate). This workshops requires a smartphone. Headsets will be available for pickup from the library building the week before the workshop. If you have questions, or cannot pickup a headset, please reach out to me to discuss at jasia.stuart@concordia.ca.
