Cervical cancer is highly preventable with vaccination. This same vaccine can also prevent genital warts, a sexually transmitted infection, as well as HPV-related cancers in men.
On Wednesday, March 4th, Health Services is holding a pop-up Gardasil ®9 HPV Vaccine clinic in the EV-Atrium! You'll be able to get your HPV vaccineon the spot, book an appointment for your pap test, grab a few free condoms, and more! Be sure to bring your:
Medicare or insurance card
Vaccine records, if you have them (you can still receive the vaccine if you don't have your records on you)
Credit or debit card (you will pay for the vaccine at the pharmacy)
ATTENTION Undergrad and Grad students covered by StudentCare: your health plan provides vaccine coverage, so now is a great time to get your HPV vaccine. And remember, some students qualify to receive Gardasil ®9 for free (scroll down to 'Other clientele' for the list of people who are eligible to receive the vaccine for free).
