Join us for a thought-provoking exploration of themes connected to AI-generated Art. This workshop and panel discussion will examine the possibilities and limitations of using artificial intelligence to create art.

Leading up to the event, you'll learn how to use Midjourney by inputting text-based prompts to generate images. We invite everyone from experts to those who will encounter this technology for the first time. Bettina Forget, whose research examines the recontextualization of art and science, will guide you through the process of creating your own AI-generated art pieces.

Following this, an interactive panel discussion will delve deeper into themes related to creating AI-generated art, including: representations of gender and diversity, changing visual cultures, ethics of using artists’ work, and how these technologies impact creative processes and teaching and learning.

How can you participate? Join us in person or online (for the panel at 4pm - 5:30pm) by registering for the Zoom Meeting or watching live on YouTube.
