Large language models like ChatGPT are transforming the ways we communicate, learn, and interact with one another. In response, it's important to engage an interdisciplinary lens to examine the varied impacts of such technologies.

To this end, the Digital Intimacies, Gender and Sexuality Lab, in collaboration with the Applied AI Institute, is organizing a panel discussion moderated by Stefanie Duguay and Fenwick Mckelvey. Join us to hear from experts and participate in discussions about the pedagogical, ethical, social, and political implications of this technology.

Gita Ghiasi

Gita Ghiasi is a Senior Research Advisor at Université de Montréal and an affiliate assistant professor at the Centre for Engineering in Society at Concordia University.

Ann-Louise Davidson

Ann-Louise Davidson is a Professor of Educational Technology in the Department of Education at Concordia University. She is the Director of the Concordia University Innovation Lab and Associate Director of the Milieux Institute for Art, Culture and Technology 

Mike Barcomb

Mike Barcomb is the Educational Technologist at the Centre for Teaching and Learning focusing on the pedagogical application of technology.

Nelson Filipe Costa

Nelson Filipe Costa is a PhD candidate in machine learning and natural language processing at Concordia University’s lab for Computational Linguistics (CLaC) in the department of Computer Science and Software Engineering (CSSE)

Riya Dutta 

Riya Dutta is a M.A student in in the department of Computer Science and Software Engineering (CSSE)
