Join us for a celebration of women engineers, featuring Julie Bellerose, DART Navigation Team Chief at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Julie made history when she led her team through a successful test that showed NASA could deflect an asteroid in the event of one aiming to hit planet earth in September of this year.

At this special end-of-term event, Julie Bellerose will discuss her incredible accomplishment and share her insights with engineering students and mentors from Concordia’s Women in Engineering – Career Launch Experience (WIE-CLE) program, students from the Gina Cody School, and the general public.

A moment of silence will be held to honour the 14 women who were killed 33 years ago at the École Polytechnique de Montréal on December 6, 1989. The École Polytechnique is the School of Engineering at the Université de Montréal.

How can you participate? Join us in person by registering for the Eventbrite or online by registering for the Zoom meeting or watching live on YouTube.
