Join us for a panel discussion that brings together professionals who have experience in the mental healthcare industry, academic research, and at academic institutions. Panelists Michelle Velan, CEO and Founder of Wondersource, Sandra Krause, Ph.D. candidate at Concordia University, Jillian Ritchie, Wellness Coordinator at Concordia University, and moderator Ghalia Shamayleh, Ph.D. candidate at John Molson and Concordia University Public Scholar, will discuss the platformization of mental health, and how technology impacts the delivery and experience of mental healthcare services.
There will be a Q&A session following the panel discussion.

Jillian started at Concordia in 2018 as the Wellness Coordinator and manages the Peer Wellness Ambassador team, coordinates Zen Den programming, runs mental health events and develops partnerships both on- and off-campus.

Sandra’s research interests are focused on better understanding the mechanisms that underlie, and transdiagnostic beliefs associated with, the symptom of mental contamination in Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Ghalia Shamayleh is a doctoral candidate in marketing at the John Molson School of Business. Ghalia studies the digitization of therapy as a service through teletherapy platforms. She investigates the enabling and restraining capacities of these platforms to better understand how they shape the experiences of service providers and clients.
