We’ve heard about the legendary students who occupied the 9th floor in 1969, about how the riot police were called to Concordia 2002, about the thousands of students on the streets in 2012. But, what has happened since then? Where are these student activists now? And how can we learn from their organizing to fuel our activism today?

Join us for a panel discussion to hear from the people who organized and mobilized Concordians and gave us the legacy of the “activist university”.

Guest speakers include Rodney John, Yves Engler, and Irmak Bahar, moderated by Nalini Mohabir, professor and co-author of “The Fire That Time”.

How can you participate? Join us in person or online by registering for the Zoom Meeting or watching live on YouTube.
