What do we mean when we speak about living and working sustainably, especially within a complex institutional setting like Concordia? The University has been busy developing its first-ever Sustainability Action Plan in collaboration with the wider Concordia community, and has recently been named among the best 200 globally in working toward the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
What specific actions are we currently taking to develop a clear roadmap for sustainability in the areas of food, waste, climate, research, and curriculum? What challenges have arisen in this organizational feat, and what will sustainability look like at Concordia in the future, in a post-pandemic context?
In this virtual conversation, an interdisciplinary group of Concordia faculty and staff will explore these questions and more.
