Lancia Lefebvre

life-and-its-definers

Starting from a place of positive speculation, this roundtable conversation is a way to introduce new audiences to the field of synthetic biology and tackle some of the most important questions preoccupying its experts, including ethics, science history, or a futuristic vision of an Avatar-like world. Stop by to join the conversation as we ask, “everything is possible, what now?"

This event is organized by Lancia Lefebvre and Kenza Samlali from iGEM Concordia. iGEM Concordia thanks SAF for their support.

Honoured participants:
- Ananda Gabo is an explorer of food systems, bioartist, community builder, open hardware enthusiast and speculative futurist from Toronto;
- Dr. Brandiff Caron, Science and Technology Ethicist, Concordia University;
- Justin Atkin of TheThoughtEmporium.com, DIY Biologist/ Youtuber.
