If you’ve ever caught yourself yelling at Alexa, and wondered why, this webinar is for you.

In this webinar, Nura Jabagi, MBA 14, PhD 21, explores the rising use of algorithms and advanced AI and what we know (and don’t know) about how humans react to them.

With a focus on the workplace, you’ll learn about managerial algorithms and what it means to work with an algorithmic manager, as well as the skills you’ll need to succeed in tomorrow’s workplace.

Nura Jabagi, MBA 14, PhD 21

Nura successfully defended her thesis on the Gig-Economy in Business Technology Management at the John Molson School of Business (JMSB).

Nura is fascinated by the Future of Work, and is dedicated to understanding how advanced technologies, like managerial algorithms, are changing the way we experience work. Through her research, she aims to help organizations better prepare for and manage the future of work.

Nura is also Concordia Public Scholar alumna — a prestigious award program that highlights exceptional graduate researchers at Concordia. In addition to ther Concodia degrees, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (Hons.) from Queen’s University.
