Young woman wearing burgundy sweater hangs up floral material on white garland. A sustainability ambassador hangs up a colorful reuseable beeswax wrap.

In part two of the workshop series, participants will learn more about Concordia’s Sustainability Action Plan and how to be a powerful peer-to-peer educator. Joining on camera is encouraged because this will be a highly participatory workshop!

About the program

The SAP is a collaboration between the Office of Sustainability and Sustainable Concordia. Students who volunteer with the program become peer-to-peer sustainability educators, known as Sustainability Ambassadors (SAs). SAs work in different roles across Concordia to encourage awareness and develop more sustainable behaviors on campus.

Due to the COVID-19 health crisis and the suspension of campus activities, volunteer opportunities through the program are postponed until further notice. However, students who complete all three workshops will receive a digital certificate and notice on their co-curricular record recognizing their dedication.
