Building an inclusive discipline: Learning, practicing, and teaching political science
This is the first inter-university political science graduate conference organized by the graduate student associations at Concordia, McGill, Université de Montréal and Université de Québec à Montréal (UQAM).
In a two day event, students, faculty members and non-academic professionals will be encouraged to share experiences, perspectives, research, and ideas about improving teaching, practicing, and learning in political science in different cultural and linguistic contexts.
The first day's programming will take place between 2 and 5pm on March 15 and will include a workshop and a roundtable discussion with graduate program directors.
The second day of the event, taking place between 9:30 and 7pm on March 16, will include two student panels discussing gender and decolonization and epistemology, methodology, and pedagogy as well as a keynote speaker.
