Filmmaker and anthropologist J.P. Sniadecki will be visiting Concordia on March 3, 2017 to present Yumen (2013) and work in progress. Sniadecki is a filmmaker-anthropologist and an Assistant Professor at Northwestern University whose work is in the permanent collection of the New York Museum of Modern Art and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. His films have been screened internationally and have been recognized with multiple awards. This lecture is presented by the generous support of the Mary Ann Beckett-Baxter Memorial Fund.
