Theatre project developed by Madison Phyper with the help of the Concordia Undergraduate Student Research Award, and supervision of Professor Luis C. Sotelo.

The project, developed over this previous summer, was created in conjunction with and informed by a series of interviews with people whose lives have been touched by bullying (students, teachers, child and youth care workers). Unfortunately the work had to be produced online because of Covid 19. However, active listening, a key principle which guided the work from start to finish, necessitates dialogue. For this reason the artist wishes to hold a community discussion on the work and more importantly it's theme: bullying. Falling on Nov 19th, this event is a part of Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week, and is produced in partnership with Concordia's Acts of Listening Lab. We hope you'll join us to engage in extending the dialogue.

What will be included in the event:
- A brief introduction to active listening and oral history theatre
- A brief reading of a poem.
- Viewing of one of the videos.
- Community discussion
- Conclude with community board activity.
