Taklif: Ideas of Femininity

«تکلیف: انگاره‌های زنانه» پیرامون تجربه‌های روزمره‌ی زنانه ما شکل گرفته است؛ تجربه‌هایی که از طریق روایت‌های شفاهی، نوشته‌ها و خاطرات شخصی جمع‌آوری شده‌اند، تا در پژوهشی جمعی این تجربه‌ها راهی بیابد برای شکل‌گیری دانشی بنیادین از نظریه‌های جایگزین فمینیستی.
ما در این نمایشگاه تجربه‌ای جمعی بنام «جشن تکلیف» را مورد مطالعه قرار داده‌ایم. «جشن تکلیف» مراسمی است که نهادهای رسمی آموزشی و یا خانواده‌ها، آن را در سال سوم دبستان برای دختران برگزار می‌کنند. «جشن تکلیف» به عنوان مراسمی مذهبی رواج داده شده‌ است که آن را نماد عبور از کودکی به نوجوانی می‌داند.
نتیجه همکاری ما در چهار شکل از نمایشگاه، فضای مطالعه، جلسات مباحثه‌ و انتشار کتابچه ارائه می شود تا از خلال آن دیدگاه شرکت‌کنندگان به اشتراک گذاشته شود. نمایشگاه بستری است برای بازگویی روایت‌های شخصی‌ از میان گفتگوهای صمیمانه و مصاحبت‌های زنانه. در طول مدت برپایی نمایشگاه، فضای گالری دسترسی آزاد به فضای مطالعه را فراهم می‌کند که در آن منابع و مطالب حول موضوع نمایشگاه برای بررسی بیشتر وجود خواهد داشت. کتابچه، مجموعه‌ای از نوشته‌ها به همراه خاطر‌ه‌نگاره‌ها‌ست که پیرامون انگاره‌ها، سوابق و گفتگوهای مربوط به موضوع نمایشگاه و رویدادهای آن گردآوری شده است.

Taklif: Ideas of Femininity was formed around our everyday feminine experiences to establish ongoing research into alternative feminist theories. We used a recollection of our oral narration, notes and personal records to develop a collective foundational knowledge.

For the occasion of this exhibition we brought together a collective experience, called Jashn-e-Taklif (ceremony of being dutiful). This religious rite of passage claims to mark the transition from childhood to adulthood and is held at Iranian pedagogical institutions and/or with families in the third grade of elementary school.

Our contributions will be presented into four formats: the exhibition, reading space, event series, and publication, all of which you will find responses shared by participants. The exhibition embodies recollection of diverse personal narratives, inhabited within intimate dialogic spaces of companionship and femininity. During this exhibition the gallery offers an open access reading space where selected materials surrounding the exhibition will be available for further engagement. The publication assembles a series of texts accompanied by visual diaries that ruminate on the ideas, histories, and conversations surrounding the exhibition and events.

Gravitant autour de nos expériences féminines quotidiennes, l’exposition Taklif: Ideas of Femininity (« concepts de la féminité ») amorce une recherche continue dans le domaine de la pensée féministe marginale. À partir de nos réminiscences de récits oraux, de notes et de souvenirs intimes, nous avons constitué un savoir collectif fondamental.

L’exposition qui nous réunit explore le thème d’une expérience collective, appelée Jashn-e-Taklif (« cérémonie du devoir »). Ce rite de passage religieux prétend marquer la transition de l’enfance à l’âge adulte. En Iran, les fillettes l’accomplissent en troisième année du primaire, à l’école ou dans leur famille.

Les diverses contributions se déclinent en quatre volets : exposition, coin lecture, cycle événementiel et publication, chacun présentant les réponses proposées par les artistes du collectif. L’expo incarne nos souvenirs éclectiques des récits personnels qui peuplent ces espaces dialogiques intimes associés à la camaraderie et à la féminité. Parallèlement, la galerie propose un coin lecture ouvert au public. Des documents choisis, portant sur le thème de l’exposition, permettent de pousser plus loin la réflexion. Réunissant une série de textes, la publication se double de journaux intimes visuels. Leurs auteures y sondent des idées, narrations et conversations sur l’exposition et ses activités connexes.
