Responsible innovation is a conceptual framework developed by scholars from STS and technology policy to bring societal values to the forefront of the innovation process, as opposed to more traditional models of innovation that do not problematize the connection between innova-tion and societal benefits, and focus more narrowly on economic benefits. This seminar will introduce participants to this framework and provide a practical guide for implementing it in their own work.
