In the late 1990s, the Town of Okotoks (population 28,881) made the decision to live within the carrying capacity of the Sheep River Watershed. Over the past 15 years, while experiencing 41% population growth, the Town has remained within its allocated licensed water capacity. This free webinar will explore the Town's successes, challenges and future plans.

About the Speaker

Dawn Smith joined the Town of Okotoks in 2008 as their Environment and Sustainability Coordinator. She is responsible for developing, monitoring and reporting on sustainable initiatives within the corporation and the community.
