Alison Karasz practicing clinical psychologist and Professor of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School. A cultural-clinical psychologist and expert in qualitative and mixed methods, she conducts a research program on culture, health and mental health. Current research projects includes randomized controlled trials in Bangladesh and New York City, implementation evaluations, and a study examining the impact of culture and context on symptom heterogeneity in post partum distress.
