Learning to write better: Some practical strategies

Do you want to become a more productive writer? Do you want to find better ways to communicate your ideas to a reading audience? If you are a policy analyst, political aid, research assistant, academic or someone in the not-for-profit sector, this may be the opportunity you’re looking for. This one-day workshop offers you a relaxed space to discuss your writing challenges, become more aware of your approach to writing, and test out some practical strategies for improving your writing skills. Participants are invited to bring a laptop or pen and paper, a brief (1-2 page) writing sample and a willingness to actively engage in writing activities.
