Amy Williamsen, Professor of Spanish and Department Head

Amy Williamsen is a leader in cognitive/scientific, feminist and borderland approaches to early modern Spanish literature. In addition to editing several important volumes on women novelists and playwrights from Baroque Spain, she authored the book Co(s)mic Chaos: Exploring Los trabajos de Persiles y Sigismunda. Her current book project is entitled The Critical Quest: Lessons from the Margins of Early Modern Spanish Literature.
