Experiential Learning Course Model
This course model is designed to engage students in hands-on learning activities. These may include field trips (independent or in groups when appropriate), labs, case studies, performances, industry projects, practica, community work, etc. The class should meet regularly to discuss new concept and ideas and to consolidate and share learning from previous weeks. The instructor should be in regular contact with students the weeks they are not in class.
In this model, the class is divided into 2 groups, wherein each group attends the face-to-face class on alternating weeks to decrease the number of students in the face-to-face class.
