There are many measures in place to protect the health and safety of the Concordia community.

Classroom health and safety directives

  • For students, procedure masks are mandatory in the classroom until June 22, 2022. Learn more about mask requirements.
  • As of June 23, a mask is recommended but not required.
  • There is no physical distancing requirement in classrooms.
  • Instructors may remove their mask while teaching as long as they remain 1 metre from students.
  • Currently, food and beverages may not be consumed in classrooms.
  • Should students want to wipe down any surface, a spray bottle and reusable cloths are available in all classrooms; these are changed daily.
  • If a student’s class is transferred from a campus location to online delivery, they may use the space reserved for their class to connect from campus. Learn about other remote class and study locations on the COVID FAQ.
