Lily Corne Klein

Lily Corne Klein is a graduate student in the Film Studies department at Concordia University’s Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema. Lily holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Gender and Women’s Studies and Film Studies from The University of King’s College and Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Lily’s research emerges from an expansive interest and enthusiasm in the points of intersection of film, performance, gender, sexuality, and queer and feminist film theory and practice . From these origins, their research interests have grown to include theories of queer temporality, futurity and utopianism, the politics of sincerity, digital and virtual queer communities, ephemerality and the archive, and theories of affect.
