Emma Kredl is a graduate student in Film Studies at the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema. Growing up in Montreal, Kredl hoped to become a filmmaker, enrolling in the film production BFA program at MHSoC, in which time they focused on experimental documentary filmmaking and horror studies. Their current research focuses on aspects of grief and haunting in autoethnographic film, bridging the gap between their documentary filmmaking background and their inclinations towards gothic horror.
