A workshop to try out screen printing basics and experiment with found inks on different surfaces! For this closing event of the in.site symposium, you’re invited to take apart the exhibition, print all over it, and bring it home with you. The designers from Concordia alumni-founded screen printing studio French Press will be your guides.

This workshop is in three parts:

1. How does screen printing work? A quick video tour through our studio and the process of burning a screen.

2. Printing! We tear down the exhibition graphics and print on them. Bring your own tees/totes/paper and we’ll print on those too.

3. Will it screen print? In theory, any substance that you can squeeze through the mesh of a screen will print. Bring your favourite condiment, homemade inks or anything else you think might screen print, and we’ll try it out!

How can you participate? Attend in person.
