Lisa Ndejuru, PhD Student and core member of the Centre for Oral History and Digital Storytelling (COHDS), will be facilitating Performing the Archives: Playback Theatre with the Living Histories Ensemble as part of the Living Archives programming.

The Living Histories Ensemble is a socially-engaged improvisational theatre collective. It came together during the Montreal life stories project and allowed different kinds of listening. Participants are artists and scholars, from diverse socio-cultural backgrounds, experienced in theatre-based facilitation. They use an improvisational form of community theatre to listen to stories from the audience and play them back on the spot.

This event is part of the “Listen, Explore and Learn” series, taking place at 4TH SPACE from December 2-10. See the full program here.
